I am leaving Penang very soon, next Friday to be exact! So many more things undone in my check list,and I guess I might not complete all in time.I would just have to get things done based on its level of importance, I think.I have been a lazy bum,too lazy to post up on those gatherings that we had here in Penang. And sometimes, it is weird to get all hyped up with picture taking sessions when the others might not be too camera friendly. Very often I choose to not stand out and follow the majority ending up with no pictures to feed the blog :(
 And that is the reason /excuse(teehee) why I have so many SS pictures in my blog.
### . Lipchung's birthday .
I seldom hang out with the bunch for night time yumcha session.However,I showed up that day for Lipchung's big day.What coincident that his birthday fell on his happy day.Lip has labelled Wednesday as The Happy Day,the day where his housemate and him would laze in cafeterias with Internet access ( their temporary home in Penang is without Internet.How dead is that! ) right after work. We were just tables away coz Jack was so sure that Lip would not sense our existence being so absorbed to the virtual world. It was so untrue.
I had to come up with a little drama when he actually turn around saying that it was such coincidence seeing him there. It is difficult to give surprises coz it is a well known theory that friends would try to make something up during birthdays.And so ,if something fishy is sensed hours before the clock strikes 12,you would know what it is.But it is best to act surprised just to please your friend and as the appreciation for their effort. Happy birthday Lipchung :)
  I hate this picture coz I look weird in it - my eyes are squinting ,the smile looked fake but that was the only picture I had with lipchung for the day.So be it.
 Federick's birthday was days before,so the celebration was for him too.He did not know he was part of the celebrated person until he saw his name appearing on the cake.
 They asked me to pose for the camera. I do not do good when all eyes are on me. I dislike the pressure thus,that was me looking rather awkward.
###.Dinner in Tambun.
This is our second outing since canoeing which was like two months ago.The intern boys insisted to splurge on a sumptous seafood feast in Tambun although I suggested a hightly rated Ma Lat Steamboat down town. I tagged along as I know I would not have much chance to hang out with them after the internship.The night was not bad although they speak guy language (used only in an all guys gathering and the topic of concern would revolve solely about women) alot in front of me.But,I guess it means I blended in well since they didn't bother to disguise much .
###. Pleasant meet up with seniors
I vowed to meet up with CK at least once since he is working in Altera,which is so near to me and when Siang Wei came down for a business trip and asked for dinner, I quickly agreed. Killing two birds with one stone,I liked the idea.Upon arrival, I was shocked to know that the dinner is a gathering of 8 with 4 seniors who I barely know although they are one year seniors from the same majoring.Lucky me,the dinner turned out fruitful since they exchanged thoughts about FYP when I blurted several questions. CK knew I was in a dilemma about FYP,so he sorta arranged it.How nice.They were a nice bunch of seniors.
Elmondo Pizza Restaurant,Kristal Point has a superb environment ,most suitable for after work hours hang out.The price is quite reasonable too. Pictures taken years ago .That is CK,the smart yet humble guy :)
###. Old time buddy,Terry
Terry is a friend I made during the YTM camp in Terrenganu. Liping,Weiloon ,Ang and a few of those we hang out together often now are also friends made through that portal.It is quite miraculous how that camp has created quite some friendship among us.
 Terry contacted me one day through MSN for a meet up ,and I instantly agreed asking Weiloon and Ang to tag along since it has been years since we last met.4 years ,to be exact.It is quite an excitement to meet an old friend after so long.Thrilled that he still remembers you,ponders about how much has he changed and wonders what to talk about.We had a great time together,even helped terry choose his suit for prom :)
  We met up in T-bowl ,a restaurant which fuses the toilet bowl concept into a conventional hongkie cafeteria.Food are served in bowls with the shape of a toilet bowl,bathtub or any relevant items in a toilet that they might think of. (look! Weiloon's cheesy baked rice is on a 'toilet' bowl.How gross).
To the extreme,several food are shaped and named after shit which to me, is a big downturn towards my appetite.Thus, I only had a choconut icecream for that dinner.And as I googled up T bowl,I found out that their official website is in bad shape.I thought websites are supposed to sound professional but look at the grammars and you will start questioning their professionalism.Not something we would find in official sites.
###.To love and to hate
Food blog have been a helpful tool,which I have only learn to use it towards the end of my stay. Too bad.So much to explore.too little time left for execution.Penang Tua pui and CK Lam food intros are pretty awesome.However,the food had definitely taken a toll on my weight but it is quite impossible to resist those temptations.I know I would sound like some ungrateful good for nothing kiddo,but I missed feeling hungry.I hate that fact that I am growing horizontally but I vow to starve myself a little when I am back to where I belong,Kay El city .
