weekend not flushed to waste (continuation of 2)

I had more to say about Sunday on the previous rant but since the post was already long enough and it was already near sleeping hours when I finished ,I scurried off to pamper myself for an hour of drama.

On that lovely Sunday before canoeing....
We had two awkward hours as earlier that noon,we lunched with several friends that holidaying in Penang. Prangin Mall was the nearest to our makan spot,so we ended up spending time there. I received bad comments on that place but being there myself ,it was not too bad. It reminds me of Sungai Wang - you might not see it as classy and well preserved, there are treasures you can find lurking in every possible corner.All needed is some patience and a heart to dig for good stuff.
I do not get that why most men are against places like such. Not all.Maybe coz men do not find joy in shopping as ladies does.
There, I got the perfect pressies for the soon-to-graduate buddies for a too good to believe bargain. I had my eyes on few dresses on the mannequin,but I just kept my thoughts in as it is the save up period of the month.And at the foyer,was an memorial event tribute to MJ.I had heard about many events going on all around the world tribute to MJ-how people had shed tears and mourn over the loss,and even on the paper today was the memorial service at the Straples Centre in LA.
Thus, I feel quite fortunate to came across this event here in Penang.
 
His albums were sold-DVD with MTVs,concert version and audio version but by the time I reach the counter,everything was swiped clean.The bf and I wanted a copy badly,but too bad that we were just too late .Up on stage, impersonators from different age range compete to win merchandises given out.Roses are also sold at one of the booth where fans can pay their last respect to the King of Pop.
 
A little something to do for the deceased.
