in the midst of a busy week

 .....we went shopping. Chia fook's idea.
I guess everybody except me has not felt the weight of FYP yet.Including this week,this is my 3rd week submitting weekly task for FYP.The stress level hasn't been exactly peak but I dislike looking at the expression of dissatisfaction from my lecturer.But that didn't exactly stop me from having a break out of the nerd factor -shopping in 1U.
 We sorta talked Polo who was forever in Khakis into buying jeans as a change.This made him a whole lot younger and to be on par with his stylo wannabe roomie,CF.Glad he took our suggestions in.
 Behind me was Ying ying who was trying out a piece from F21.Look closer.And me :) waiting.
If I was not reminded, this week totally does not felt like week 2 of semester.Previously, week 2 indicates numerous outing plans, nights filled with drama or chat conversations all night long.However,I did not forget to have fun despite of the heavy workloads.I got myself a Dorothy Perkin basic tee in Purple with Cf's discount card :)

worth the wait

One thing bad about online shopping is the anticipation and you have no choice but to put total trust towards Malaysia's delivery service irregardless of government or private company.In Penang, I would put my address as Tzerhaur's company's location since I could not be too sure about being home all the time.Back to Cyber, I did not know the best address to put ,and Alan suggested the best location - Sudent Affairs Division(STAD).
Pro - Parcel secured,I do not have to worry about the expected time.
Con - It takes longer to reach the hands of mine.
The staffs of STAD aren't too friendly.They had long sulky faces whenever I ask them about the status of parcels(especially the lady ones) and directed me to look into the online system,which was obviously not up-to-date.
And when a parcel went MIA for too long,equipped with the recipient name I got from Poslaju call centre,I confronted the STAD person in charge saying my parcel was supposed to reach days before (with pityful face).
After tracking, my parcel was left stranded in Admin Building ,and thus,I had to walk all the way to the isolated building to get it.Thus,that explains my reason behind the pros and cons :)
Lookie. I totally heart the bag:)

I have always loved Polaroid photos since the Spice Girl's years of glory.They were the ambassador of some brand of Polaroid cam which was also the reason I had eyes on the camera.Teenagers and the influencing power of idols:)I attempted to save up for one during those time,but failed as extra money always go into the bank and finds no way to get out.There goes my little unresolved item in my childhood wishlist.
However nice the effect of Polaroids, it is impractical to own one since photos which look bad couldn't be erased like digital cameras.It's not like I am Miss Photogenic or something close enough.So,that's when the advancement of technology steps in-picture modification software doing the trick ;)

a day we got hyped up for sports

 It was ages since we last met Shindee and when she was down in KL ,we were the hang out gang in her priority list. And so,this time we wanted something more sporty , energetic and sweaty.Not the typical gathering in shopping malls.Thus,the idea of cycling in Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam in Shah Alam came up.
I have been there the last time with only ZH,to find out that activities as such are better to be done in a group.
    The last time I was there with ZH,we were foolish enough to ride down the jungle treks which I think was some stupid move then coz :
1. I was just an ameteur in cycling- city girl :/
2.I fell down and had an ugly bruise on the knee.
This time,I played safe.We avoided jungle treks,riding only on main roads.And when it feels that the road is too steep, we (the girls) either had double brakes on or get down from the bike and start walking with it.So,nobody ended up with bruises. :) but aching arses!Daymn ,the pain lasted for days . I think I still like walking better :D
 We prepared food for picnic in the park too :)Kaijing on the main,while I prepared egg tuna sandwiches .Sandwiches are considered safe food as they wouldn't turn out too bad no matter how bad my skills are.
The guys said squating made the food taste better =.= which I totally can't see eye to eye on. NEVER!!
The weather was superb despite the momentary drizzle in the morning. I was freaked out when Tack reminded me that I might end up with an awkward since I had two pieces of tanks on.(to bring out the fashionable sporty look =.= aha)I didn't realise it when I choose the attire but Thank god,it didnt happen :D
  A bunch of people who practises healty life ,teehee.

After all the fuss and race which had slightly sacrificed my holidays, I finally got my choice of FYP title which I dunno whether is it a good thing . It is BH Ong that we are talking about- no doubt a good lecturer,but I do not hope to die of tension.Since it is my own choice and now that I finally got it,I will not think too much and start tackling it the short term way - to acheive whatever which pleases him for his weekly target.
Wish me luck!!
Ps : Please get me a good partner too :D

changing for the better

ZH has turned into an Iphone freak ever since he got the phone .He would go head over heels over the application available,promoting the use of Iphone to friends like Steve Job paid him to do so and he is such a tech savvy now.Iphone has also made his interest for any Apple product grow that his next aim is to own a Macbook as he is uberly impressed with the satisfying product he purchased.Not to mention the uncountable visits to FB now, something he would not do previously thanks to the direct access from Iphone.
See what I got in my mail today,some application he explored and sent using his Iphone. Small gesture, but this isn't something the good old ZH would do
In conclusion , Iphone has made ZH a more fun person :) With that,I think I love Iphone too but it is so not me to spend a fortune on the smartphone. I am contented with the current SE phone which has served me well : )

Humble birthday celebration with awesome people

#1. I never expected the CNYE peeps to remember my birthday,and even to celebrate it on the exact day itself. I am grateful enough if they would just message me when the clock strikes 12am since most had graduated,but Derek initiated a date on the night before my birthday which I definitely got what he meant.
So, we went to my favourite place - Kbox :) Many of them had to work the next day but they were kind enough to stay on way past midnite and it was certainly great coz it has been long since we gather. And when I am the reason we gather,I appreciate it even more.
      
#2 - And so, we are once again back to the LDR.Sad but, I understand that everybody has their path to lead and it will be not long that ZH will work in Kay El city. He is already applying for job vacancies in KL which is a great news for my mum as she is afraid I might have to stay put in Penang if ever I marry him ( er,which is still a longggg way to go )
 ZH is like the nicest as he had to work on OT for few continuous days to be able to apply leave for my birthday. He was actually already in KL while I celebrated my 12am with the CNYE buddies ,however he was not at all angry that I did not spend my first hours of birthday with him. I am superbly grateful that he understand how much friends meant to me as much as he does.And that he did not put me in a situation where I had to choose between friends or him.
 The birthday dinner at Michaelangelo's was superb! We headed to Pavillion after an interview which ZH wanted to turn down as it was at 7pm of my birthday .However, I encouraged him to go for it just in case he missed a golden opportunity which would affect his whole life. (It turned out that that job was totally off track from what he intended to do )
So ,despite the dinner late,it was a romantic one:)
    
#3. When I thought it was just gonna be a normal secondary school gathering, I did not know that they planned a not-so-surprising surprise belated birthday party for me. At first,I was supposed to celebrate with Teckyeong's dad whose birthday fall on that day of gathering (18th oct ) which I find uberly weird coz itz gonna be a fusion of young+old birthday celebration.Plus, I did not know more than half of Teckyeong's relatives who would be singing for me.
So,I freaked out the last minute and we all decided to celebrate mine minus uncle.(uncle's birthday will be celebrated by solely his relatives)What a big relieve. I dislike when all eyes are on me, I feel the awkardness and I would start acting like a bimbo.
  That night was fun. I got to hang out with old friends,some whom I have never met since highschool. Fun fun fun !
#4. The birthday bash the FOE gang had for me was also superb. We did it in Hard Rock cafe , which had great environment although we had to shout to communicate with the people at the end of the table.It was nice to finally have the big gang meet up after 4 long months of intern.Nobody changed much ,everybody was still that nice to hang out with . 
It was a double celebration as Kris' birthday was 5 days ahead of mine.It was awkward how we were forced to stand on the chair while the waitress brought in the cake.It all happen in a sudden ,that I do not know whether did I flashed my panties while I struggle to stand up on the chair with my heels.Gosh,but that was some memorable memories .I have always said no to birthday celebration as TGIF and Chillies as they would ask the birthday girl/guy to do some funny stuff to entertain the crowd ,but there I was standing high up on chair in the middle of HardRock Cafe.Not something I would forget so soon.  However,we did not stay until the live band start ,which I think was a big waste coz some had to work the next day.But overall,it was a nice like the good old days sorta gathering.
 Thank you ,thank you ,thank you. I could not thank you guys more for the wootilicious 22nd birthday :)
